Flying with the Raven

Awakening your Shamanic Soul

Starting each year in February, I will be offering a years apprenticeship to six committed souls willing to journey into their inner calling.

The time commitment will span 8 weekends over a 12 month period.

The weekends are to be confirmed and will include the Saturday and Sunday.

Start times are 10:30am finishing around 6pm.

The locations will be split between Cardiff and Swansea. There will also be many excursions in nature taking full advantage of the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The total financial commitment is £2,500.

This is not a journey for the faint-hearted, if you wish to awaken the Magic of the Shaman within, you must be prepared to undergo a deep process of dismemberment and transformation. Working in the inner realms is not without its pitfalls and sacrifices to certain degrees must be made in order to make you less vulnerable to spirit attack.

The apprenticeship will give you a solid and grounded foundation into working with the realm of Spirit up to a level of safety which will allow you to deal with the average levels of spiritual disturbance most people suffer with. There will be

Initiate and Adept level courses offered in the future once you have practised at apprentice level for a certain period of time.

This course deals with the physical, psychological and practical preparations required, bridging the liminal void, working in the abyss and axis Mundi, developing and trusting inner vision, understanding and working with healing powers, connecting and working with the elements and sacred space, connecting with the drum, working with the sound and healing Mantras of the ancients, practical cosmology and soul lore, and much more……

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will be asked to conduct a series of 30 case study healings before beginning any shamanic practice in the community. This will form part of the contract and commitment you make to Spirit, and will be approved by me so written notes will need to be produced for each healing.

Each weekend will have a specific theme and content with an overview as follows:

Weekend 1. (Spirit)

The spirits have called….how will you respond?

A weekend of treading our first steps onto the sacred path. What will you carry with you and what will you leave behind…..and will you have a choice?

Breaking down the Bare bones of Shamanism and Healing.

Meeting the spirits.

The elemental trials and the fetters that bind us.

The Shamans sacrifices.

Teachings will be delivered both orally and through prepared course notes and handouts. Sometimes the spirits need to speak and guide in certain ways with different students so we cannot be too rigid in our format.

Plenty of note-taking and journalling is encouraged. Most if not all of the weekends will involve excursions out in nature so appropriate clothing and footwear will be required.

Flexibility will also be required around timings for the day as on occasion work may continue into late evening/night.

There will be some tasks given between weekends but these will not be too laborious or time-consuming. The Divine Mother will work with you between weekends and orchestrate whatever shifts and challenges you will need for your highest good.

A book list for extra reading and development will be given. Support between sessions will also be made available within certain boundaries. You will all be held safely.

If you are ready to fly with the Raven, then please get in contact for a discussion.

Because numbers are limited, there will inevitably be some disappointment if you aren’t selected for this particular year. Please understand that Spirit will guide me closely.

If someone isn’t quite ready to join the apprenticeship this year, then feedback will be given as to why and also guidance on what further internal preparations may be required to be ready within 12 months.
